What should I verify about eXp's current fees?

By Chris Sanford · Reviewed October 27, 2026

Fees, caps, and programs at any brokerage can change, and third-party summaries are often outdated. This site does not quote eXp's current fee schedule, because only eXp's official materials are authoritative.

Where to verify

  • eXp Realty's official website and current joining documentation.
  • The current eXp USA Policies and Procedures.
  • The state-specific information for where you'll be licensed.

What to confirm in writing

  • Every recurring fee and what it includes.
  • Transaction-related costs and how they're collected.
  • Any program costs you opt into, and how to opt out.
  • What changes if your production changes.

A useful habit

Save a dated copy of whatever official document you relied on when you decided. If numbers change later, you'll know exactly what you agreed to and when.

If something you read here or anywhere else conflicts with an official eXp document, the official document wins.
